Obama’s Investment

Yesterday, just like Bush and the President’s before him, Obama played the game of traveling on American business and using the opportunity to stump for a candidate.  I’m pretty sick of that blatant hypocrisy too, but that’s not the topic of this post.

Venturing into the vacation-land he said corporations should not go, Obama once again showed his ignorance of  (or indignation with) the constitution.  During his speech in Las Vegas, where he once again blamed it all on Bush, he complained about Sharon Angle’s Tea Party stance that includes…

“She wants to privatize Social Security and Medicare, wants to eliminate our investment in clean energy, wants to eliminate our investment in our children’s education.”

Sorry Mr. Obama, but the Federal Government has bankrupted the country using Social Security and Medicare.  And, I defy you, Mr. Obama, to find the word “investment” in the Constitution let alone in the powers granted to the Federal Government

He continues…

“You have to understand we are headed in the right direction and what the other side is offering is basically to go back to the same ideas that got us into this mess in the first place,” the president said. “This is a choice between the politics that led us into the mess or the politics that are leading us out of the mess.”

Of course the ideas that got us into this mess are:

  • The Community Reinvestment Act / ACORN
  • Unions
  • Fannie Mae
  • Freddie Mac
  • Excessive Government Spending

…are all the Socialist milieu and continue to be protected by Obama’s Financial Regulation Reform

To Mr. Obama, the right direction is:

  • Doubling the National Debt from 11Trillion to 23Trillion on 10 years
  • Massive new taxes with schemes such as Cap & Trade, the Health Care takeover, and Financial Regulatory Reform, and
  • Thousands of new Bureaucrats bloating the walls of an already massive Federal Government

More Spending, More Taxes, More Government.

Sadly, the 38% of Americans still think this is the way to go and approve of his message.  Pray that they too wake up to what really makes for a healthy country and economy:

  • Small Government
  • Free Market
  • Low Taxes
  • Freedom
