God Did Not Create The Universe

03 Sep

That was the declaration of Stephen Hawking, noted and brilliant (until now) scientist, in his soon to be released book.

From the Mail Online, “In The Grand Design, extracts of which were printed today, Prof Hawking concludes: ‘Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing.”

What astounding hubris and chutzpah scientists such as Professer Hawking display when they make such a claim that God did not create the universe.  Conversely, what an amazing level of ignorance, naiveté and blindness is portrayed at the same time.  In the same statement where Hawking asserts that God did not create the universe, Hawking confirms that God really did.

Simply put Mr. Hawking, “Where did the law of gravity come from?”

Great scientists like Mr. Hawking have assured us that the world was flat and there was an underworld, that the sun circled the earth, that there was nothing smaller than the molecule, and now that there was no hand of God in the creation of the universe.

With the increasing number of scientific discoveries made each day, one would think Mr. Hawking would have the sense to know that all the evidence is not in… …since he can’t answer the simple question… …who or what created the law of gravity?

Oh silly Stephen Hawking. What I can’t understand is why he would say something like that after saying very publicly that, “All the evidence shows that God was actually quite a gambler, and the universe is a great casino, where dice are thrown, and roulette wheels spin on every occasion.”
