They Came! They Saw! They Trashed It! #OneNation

03 Oct

Sadly, knowing just a bit about the people that would be attending the One Nation Rally in Washington, DC on 10/2/2010, I knew the place was going to be completely trashed when it was over.  I was not disappointed in my prediction, but extremely disappointed by the behavior of the attendees.  The same people that want me to work for them came t
our beautiful nation’s capital AGAIN and left behind a mountain of their disgusting trash.

Is this what we see in the places they live?  Do they trash their neighborhoods?  Do they trash their towns?  Do they trash their counties?  Do they trash their states?  Do they trash their Capital?  Definitely “YES” on the latter question, and if you think about it, probably so on the former questions.

You’ll see blog posts and news articles elsewhere depicting the difference between the 8/28 Rally, the 9/12 Rally, and this rally.  So, here are some of the pictures we took.  I am obviously not much of a phtog as I took about 100 pictures of the ridiculous trash left after the rally, and they seem to have disappeared from my camera.

Plenty of room in the trash can below, but no will to use it:

I’m dismayed that so few of my pictures survived the day; they really told a much darker story of the foul treatment of one of our country’s greatest treasures (the National Mall) by the enlightened liberal masses.  At the end of the night, we came across an odd message… …written in the trash left behind:

I’m still waiting to see the “Satellite Image” that Joe Madison claimed was “sent in” showing that the OneNation crowd was larger than Glenn Becks’.  Vast swaths of the mall went unused during the rally.  Supporters were unnecessarily spread throughout the area to give the illusion that more people were attending than actually there.  Here are some pictures of the green spaces available had more people actually attended:  …pictures still to come.
