Presidential Gall

To my Democrat-voting friends,

Please.  Tell me how you vote for such a hypocrite.  Watch this man’s absolute insolence at 2:06.  Clearly he even has a problem with the number of kids the man has.  Will Chinese style eugenics be next on the list?

Thank you to the Don Smith Show for exposing this hypocrisy!

12 Reasons To Vote Democrat

Via E-Mail…h/t examiner.com

When your family or friends cannot explain why they voted Democrat, give them this list. Then they can pick a reason from this “TOP 12″…

1. I voted Democrat because I believe oil company’s profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

2. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

3. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

4. I voted Democrat because I’m too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

5. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.

6. I voted Democrat because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

7. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education and Social Security benefits, and we should take away Social Security from those who paid into it.

8. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves.

They need to break even and give the rest to the government for redistribution as they see fit.

9. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe organization who would never get their agenda past the voters.

10.. I voted Democrat because I think that it is better to pay billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, gopher or fish.

11. I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised “HOPE AND CHANGE”.

12. I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my butt, it’s unlikely that I’ll ever have another point of view.

Taxpayer Funded Contraception

On July 4th 1776 and September 17, 1787, our God-given rights were affirmed, not given by the government, in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution

Clearly written into that verbiage, according to Barack Obama, liberals, progressives, and feminists, is the right to contraception.  This right. this ‘freedom’, according to Obama and his minions, includes the right to have that contraception paid for by taxpayers under threat of imprisonment by the Federal Government.

Nathan Hale clearly said, “”I only regret that I have but one life to give for my contraceptive.”

So, my question, why is it only in the 21st century that we see the feminists and Obama asserting this right?  All the way back in the 15th Century (that’s the 1400’s for the Occupy crowd), man (or woman) had invented contraception.  So, it was certainly available in 1776 and 1787.

h/t wikipediaWhy oh why, at the founding of our great country, weren’t they handing out government funded Chastity Belts on every corner and in every church?  Why weren’t women demanding their right to a Chastity Belt as a means to prevent pregnancy and demanding that the taxpayers fund it?  Why weren’t they screaming for their rights to be protected from pregnancy by the contraception of the day?

Why? Because the idea that the Constitution (and freedom no less) enshrined a right to taxpayer funded contraception is just as ludicrous as expecting the government to hand out Chastity Belts.

Only fools, proponents of the nanny state, and opponents of freedom believe that such rights exist in the Constitution.

People like Sandra Fluke and her ilk, who cannot take responsibility for their own purchase of contraception, have a God-given form of contraception.  It’s called keeping your knees firmly together.

There is nowhere in the US Constitution that says Sandra Fluke has the right to enslave me into working part of my day to pay for her contraception.  Her God-given natural born rights end where they start to affect me.

Hopification / Changification / Brickification

From John Hayward at Human Events:h/t teslasociety.com

You remember Tesla Motors, don’t you?  Well, you should.  Barack Obama forced you to give them $465 million to develop electric cars, bringing the wonders of sustainable transportation to the common man, provided the common man has $100,000 to drop on a Tesla Roadster.  This also created 400 of those wonderful “green jobs,” at a taxpayer cost of $1,087,500.00 per job.  It has been heartwarming to watch Obama embrace that “Occupy Wall Street” ethic by spending gigantic amounts of public money to subsidize expensive toys for rich people.

Well, it turns out you can only have a limited amount of fun with a Tesla car, because if the battery ever becomes completely discharged, the car turns into a “brick” that will never move again, absent $40,000 in repairs.  AutoGuide brings us the exciting tale of how Barack Obama invested our money in the development of The Electric Brick:

Essentially a Tesla Roadster can fully discharge in 11 weeks of no usage, from a full 100-percent charge. Reports are coming in that if the vehicle is driven nearly its maximum range and is left unplugged, it could become bricked in as little as a week. So once the Tesla battery completely discharges, it cannot be recovered or recharged, which leads to the $32,000 bill to purchase a new one plus the labor, taxes, and installation charges bringing it closer to $40,000.

A regional service manager for Tesla has gone on the record to say that he is aware of at least five vehicles that have become bricked due to battery depletion. If reports of this issue becomes more public and widespread, Tesla could be in for a rough ride in damage control.

Unlike their customers, who will have a very smooth ride sitting in their immobile six-figure electric cars, making “vroom vroom” noises and pretending to work the controls, as they experience the most “sustainable” transportation ever developed by crony capitalism.

It’s pretty simple to see what happens when you try to imprison the free market.  Democrats and radical environmentalists just can’t figure out that you can’t repeal the law of supply and demand.

708,000 More Unemployed In January = Dip In Unemployment Rate?

When I see BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics), why do I think BLS = Bulls**t?

This week, the Obama apologists in the Main Stream Media trumpeted the BLS report that the Unemployment Rate dipped to 8.3%.

Then, the new/real media (bloggers and Santelli ) started looking into the numbers and wondering why 1.2 Million Americans suddenly dropped out of the labor force.  Check here and here and here.

The bottom line is the answer to the question, “How many people are unemployed?”  And, in the Bureau of Labor Statistics own figures, you can find pretty easily (if you believe this number) that the number of Unemployed went UP by 708,000.

h/t bls.gov

As far as the masseuses and contortionists that converted an increase of 708,000 in unemployed Americans to a dip in the Unemployment Rate, “These are not the droids you are looking for.”

Okay. The Buffett Rule. Then What?

I’m seeing reports that the Buffett Rule (taxing Capital Gains income of the 1% at a higher (30%) rate) would raise $50,000,000,000.  That’s an enormous amount of wealth to redistribute from 818,902 Tax Returns (read Families).  It’s $61057.37 per Family (Tax Return).

So, okay Obama, let’s say we do it.  We employ the Buffet Rule.  Then what?

The $50 Billion is 4.5% of the projected $1,100,000,000,000 ($1.1 Trillion) Deficit for 2012 on the White House web site.  Four-and-a-half percent.

So, Mr. Obama, Mr. Buffett, Mr. and Ms. Democrat… …what are you going to do to make up the other $1,050,000,000,000 ($1.05 Trillion) that is left after the Buffett Rule?

Answer that.

Based on your rhetoric, I got the impression if we just taxed the rich, everything would be okee-dokee.  If the evil rich just paid their fair share… …nirvana!

What about the Federal Debt?  We haven’t even talked about that.  Buffet’s $50 Billion would make a huge dent in the debt, right?

That $50 Billion is less than 1/3 of 1% of the current $15,382,000,000,000 ($15.382 Trillion) Debt.  Mr. and Ms. Class Warfare, what are you going to do about the remaining $15,332,000,000,000 ($15.332 Trillion) in Debt after your magic fair share and unicorn-riding class warfare succeeds in making the evil rich pay more under the Buffett Rule.

Answer that!

I know. We see it coming already.  The rich still aren’t paying their fare share.

How many times do we have to say it?  It’s the spending, stupid.

The Crux Of This Election

There is only one factor that defines this election.  There is only one thing that matters.

One number:  The Gross National Debt

The Gross National Debt has not decreased since 1968 — a generation.

Every Conservative American must educate themselves (in all races) and pick the Primary Candidate that has voted, will vote, or will veto, immediately, to stop the increase of The Gross National Debt within one year.  Incumbent or challenger, who do you trust to reduce the Gross National Debt?  How have they behaved in the past related to the debt?  Who do you trust?

Anything less, and our Republic is destined to fail.
