Got a message back from John Grundin and the van trip has been canceled.
UPDATE:
Another e-mail reported that a van (seats 8 ) is being loaded up for the trip to DC and the Restoring Honor rally. I checked with the organizer and he’s trying to get things lined out. They can leave as early as Fri morning and come back Sun.

As of noon on 8/21, the folks from the Sullivan 9-12 Group (Sullivan, MO) were advertising for 15 more people to make the trip to Glenn Beck’s 8/28 Restoring Honor Rally in Washington, DC. If you want to attend the event, contact:

Trip cost is $200 bus and $99/rm each and sharing is available for rooms and could cut total costs down to approx 350 per person for everything excluding eats. But need to know today and certainly no later than Monday with money for bus needed immediately. Can you go or perhaps sponsor someone else to go who can but is limited by funding? Help me make this bus. There are many buses going that are making overnite trips, but this is way too strenuous on a body–been there done that–not fun!
